I practice as a Notary Public in Nottingham.
I hold an MA in Modern History from the University of Oxford (University College), legal professional qualifications from Nottingham Trent University, and Notarial qualifications from University College London.
I am a member of the Notaries Society.
I am also a solicitor, and a commercial mediator. I am a partner at Geldards, where I deal with property dispute and other commercial litigation work.
Away from the office, I am an active classical musician. I play the cello and the bass viol (or viola da gamba) – the two instruments on my logo. I give solo recitals, play with various groups, large and small, and I particularly enjoy accompanying singers. I have also sung in various Cathedral Choirs. Most of my performances are in this country, but I do get to enjoy the occasional foreign tour.
I also collect fountain pens, and am always happy to give a home to a lost or neglected fountain pen which needs a bit of TLC.
